Welcome to the Haberdashers' Aske's Lodge website.
Whether or not you are a Freemason, your interest
is much appreciated and we hope you enjoy your visit.
This website was established as a resource for members
of the Lodge and for anyone interested to know
something about Freemasonry in general and this Lodge
in particular.
The Lodge was founded in 1909 as the Haberdashers' Old Boys' Lodge
by former pupils and staff of the Haberdashers' Aske's School under a warrant issued by the United
Grand Lodge of England, which administers
Freemasonry in England and Wales and in many
places overseas. Membership is no longer restricted
to Old Boys and staff of Haberdashers' Aske's School, hence the change
of name. From Haberdashers' Old Boys' Lodge we
inherited a delightfully relaxed 'Habs' style, which we aim to
maintain.
